About

14 Years. Thousands of Homes. One Standard.

You Have It Maid was built on something most cleaning companies never talk about — the people living inside the homes we clean.

    The Story

    How This Started

I started You Have It Maid in 2012 — not because I saw a business opportunity, but because I understood something most people don't talk about. A clean home isn't just about surfaces. It's about how you feel when you walk through the door.

Over the past 14 years, I've been inside thousands of homes across Fort Worth and Dallas. Homes going through divorce. Homes being packed up after a loved one passed. Homes where someone was finally ready to breathe again after years of just getting by. I've seen what it means for a home to carry weight — and what it means to lift that weight, even just for a day.

That experience shaped everything about how we work.

    What Makes Us Different

    A Different Kind of Care

Most cleaning companies show up, hit the obvious spots, and move on. We show up asking a different question: what does this family actually need right now?

That means we're not just mopping floors. We're paying attention. We're treating your home — and the people in it — with the kind of care and discretion you'd expect from someone you actually trust.

Everything stays confidential. What we see in your home, stays in your home. Always.

    Our Core Philosophy

“We clean around the people, not around the stuff.”

    A Note From Jessica

What 14 Years Inside Homes Has Taught Me

After 14 years of walking into thousands of homes, I've learned something most people don't expect me to say: most of my clients aren't struggling because they don't know how to clean. They're struggling because life changes faster than their homes do.

Children grow up and move out, and suddenly the bedrooms upstairs become quiet rooms full of memories nobody's quite ready to touch. Retirement reshapes the way a house is used — the office becomes optional, the kitchen becomes the center of everything, and the garage starts to feel like a museum.

Remodeling projects that started with excitement turn into months of overwhelm. Aging parents need help, and adult children find themselves trying to honor a lifetime of belongings without knowing where to begin. And sometimes — more often than people talk about — loss and grief leave rooms untouched for years, because moving anything feels like moving on.

I've sat with a lot of people in that quiet, stuck place. The place where you look around your own home and don't know where to start.

What I've learned is this: many of the families we serve don't just need cleaning. They need help simplifying. Downsizing. Organizing. Preparing for what's next. They need someone who can walk through the house with them without judgment and help shape a home that fits the life they're actually living today — not the life they were living ten or twenty years ago.

That's why Home Transitions exists. Not as a separate business, but as a natural extension of what You Have It Maid has always been: people who care about the people inside the home, not just the surfaces.

Feeling Overwhelmed By More Than Just Cleaning?

For many families, the challenge isn't dirt.

It's downsizing, empty nesting, helping aging parents, remodeling, organizing years of accumulated belongings, or figuring out what comes next.
